Spring Rider will rock the kids around the clock.  These are made of Linear Low Density Polyethylene.  This is a colorless, odorless, innocuous, recyclable plastic that is smooth and safe for the kids.

 **Installation, Safe Use and Maintenance Instructions**

 Installation: Determine correct footing locations and dig footings.  The hole size may vary depending on local soil, weather conditions and local law.  Dig footing hole – around 18” x 18” x 18” and fill with concrete.  You will need to buy 12” long anchor bolts and the diameter depends on the size of the holes in plates, as these vary for each Spring Rider.  Using the plate as a template, set the anchor bolts in the concrete with enough clearance for the plate and nuts.  Allow to set 2 – 3 days.  Place base over exposed bolts and push down.  Once rider base is flat, replace nuts and washers and tighten down.   Base should not move when finished.  After the equipment has been in use for several days, check all nuts and bolts and retighten if necessary.

 Safe Use:  This is for children 2-12 year olds only.  Not for Adults.   The weight limit on the Bird, Dolphin, Pony and Yacht is no more than 69 lbs.  The weight limit on the Car, Crocodile, and Shark is no more than 125 lbs.  adults should supervise children at all times.  Do not allow children to stand on or use unsafely.  Do not allow it to be used if damaged.

 Maintenance: Do the following to reduce the chance of serious injuries.  Check monthly for cracks, rust, missing rivets, open S-hooks or evidence of vandalism such as cutting, metal showing through the material or bent seats from children standing on them.  Tighten and lubricate all metallic moving parts per manufacturer’s instructions.  Check all protective coverings on nuts, bolts, pipes, edges, corners and all moving parts including swing hangers, swing seats, ropes, cables, chains and shackles.  Replace as needed.  Make sure there are no exposed footings, anchoring devices, rocks, roots, holes or any other obstacles in or around playground equipment.  In high use areas these inspections should be done more frequently.   Clean with mild soap and water when you do the monthly maintenance checks.
